No. Pauta transcribes any audio on your Mac — online meetings, videos, microphone recordings or any system audio source. If you can hear it, Pauta can capture it.
How does the free trial work?+
Download Pauta and use it free for 7 days, no card required. After the trial, buy a license to keep using it.
What does "Lifetime License" mean?+
You pay once and keep the license forever. Every future update, major versions included, comes at no extra cost.
On how many Macs can I use Pauta?+
Each license activates on up to 2 Macs. That covers a personal laptop and a work computer, or any two Macs you use.
How do I activate after buying?+
After the purchase you receive a serial key on the confirmation page. Open Pauta, go to Preferences, License, enter the serial and activate.
What if I switch Macs?+
You can deactivate an old Mac to free a slot for your new computer. Contact support if you need a hand.
Are my transcripts sent to any server?+
Never. Transcripts stay on your Mac only. The single network call is license validation. No meeting data leaves your device.
