Does Pauta work on Windows?+
Yes. Pauta has a version for Mac, on macOS 13 Ventura or later with Apple Silicon and Intel, and one for Windows 10 and 11, on x64 and ARM64. The Windows version installs and updates through the Microsoft Store.
Does Pauta put a bot in my meeting?+
No. Pauta records through your own computer, capturing the microphone and the system audio, so it works in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and any other call with no extra guest. Tell the participants before you record.
Does Pauta work offline?+
Yes. Pauta records, transcribes and summarizes without internet. The internet is only used to validate the license, download models and, if you connect Claude or ChatGPT, to summarize with them.
Does Pauta send my recordings and transcripts to a server?+
Pauta servers do not receive your recordings, transcripts or summaries, which stay saved on your computer. If you connect Claude or ChatGPT, the text for a summary or an answer goes to that provider, and with the local model nothing leaves. Apart from that, Pauta only contacts its server to validate the license, download models and check for updates.

On how many computers can I use Pauta?+
Each Pauta license activates on up to 2 computers, which means 2 Macs with the Mac license and 2 PCs with the Windows one. That covers a personal laptop and a work computer.
How do I activate Pauta after buying?+
After the purchase you receive a serial key on the confirmation page and by email. Open Pauta, go to the license settings, enter the serial and activate.
What if I switch computers?+
You can deactivate the old computer in Pauta to free a slot for the new one. Contact support if you need a hand.
Does Pauta only transcribe meetings?+
No. Pauta transcribes any audio from the computer or the microphone, such as online meetings, classes, interviews, appointments and videos. If you can hear it, Pauta can capture it.
Does Pauta recognize who is speaking?+
Yes. Pauta separates the voices in each meeting and matches them against the people it already knows, on your computer. When you fix a name, it learns it for next time.
How do projects work in Pauta?+
You create a project in Pauta with a name and a description. When a recording ends, Pauta suggests the right project and you confirm it with one click. The project keeps a summary that brings all of its recordings together, plus an AI conversation about all of them.
Can the Pauta AI answer questions across several meetings?+
Yes. Inside a Pauta project, you ask what has been decided or who ended up with the most tasks, and the answer draws on the summaries and transcripts of every recording in the project.
